Muhannad Kanaan is a cultivated Cybersecurity, Information Technology (IT) and Solution Executive with over 30 years of noteworthy success working in the USA with IT global companies from the Fortune 100 list.  Mr. Kanaan recognized and respected leader in Cybersecurity, Enterprise Solutions, Enterprise Architecture , IT investment, Open Source, Systems Design and Software Development combined with strong strategic and organization’s vision, leadership skills, decision-making skills, communication skills, business acumen and integrity.  He has delivered powerful results throughout his career  supporting numerous clients, Including US federal government clients from NASA, NIH, IRS, EPA, Department of Education.

Mr. Kanaan assisted in creating Computer Science Corporation (CSC) Solution Leadership Institute (SLI) and its predecessor program, the Solution Architect Development Program (SADP).  He has served as an Executive Board Member of the NSL Institute. Mr. Kanaan served as a member of the National Public Sector (NPS) Civil CTO and CIO Councils.  Through his involvement in the CTO/CIO councils, he provided a vision, strategy and direction for technology that ensures a strategic, wide approach to IT that minimizes duplication of effort; ensures interoperability, transparency, openness, compatibility, and collaboration.

Mr. Kanaan represented IT companies he worked with at the American Technology Council (ATC) and Industry Advisory Council’s (IAC) Emerging Technology and Enterprise Architecture Special Interest Groups.

Louisa Rahmani has over 15 years of experience in advancing partnerships to accelerate impact with partners in the United States, United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates. She is currently Director of High Impact Philanthropy for Mercy Corps, a global non-governmental, humanitarian aid organization working together on the front lines of today’s biggest crises to create a future of possibility, where everyone can prosper. Since 2011, Mercy Corps’ Gaza Sky Geeks program has propelled Palestine’s digital economy and future technology leaders to transcend borders through cutting edge peer-led education and true grit.

Sam Wehbe

Treasurer

Sam Wehbe serves as a board member and treasurer of PalTechUS, supporting its mission to mobilize the Palestinian diaspora and the global community to forge economic avenues for young Palestinians and foster a growing Palestinian tech ecosystem. Currently the Chief Financial Officer for Medical Teams International, Sam brings over 20 years of experience managing donor-funded programs in the international development and non-profit sectors. His extensive knowledge of financial regulations, from OMB Circulars and FAR to GAAP and CAS, equips PalTechUS with robust financial oversight and guidance. Moreover, his track record working with agencies like USAID, DOD, and the EU ensures the organization remains compliant, efficient, and poised for growth. Sam’s passion for change management, process optimization, and strategic planning plays a pivotal role in realizing PalTechUS’s vision. His expertise ensures not only financial health but also reinforces the organization’s commitment to nurturing and growing the capacity of the Palestinian youth in the tech industry.
